Re: SUN BONNET SUE ---UPDATE
March 15 is too early for me -- that isn't enough weekends...in fact it is would only be 3 weekends for me because this weekend is the TEACUPS. So count me out if they are due that soon..
I am sure there are others who do most of their sewing on weekends due to work too.

Who is hosting?
I would love to join, but can not do them by March 15th. Maybe April would be better?
I need more info before I commit.

Re: SUN BONNET SUE ---UPDATE
Has anyone seen the SBS with the fan skirt??? I am thinking about making that one. She would be made of small scraps(depending on what is decided)if that fits with the theme that is agreed on.
I think we need several weeks to complete this swap. I sew in my spare time. Sorry to say, but I DON'T get much spare time. Once spring outside work starts, I'm quiet busy.

Would it be only Sue or would Sam also be included?

Evie, I think someone mentioned only Sue. I like the blocks with both Sue and Sam in the same block. I think anything with Sue is cute. I'vev been hooked on this little cutie for years.

redtop-I love Sam too
or when the Sam is done in girly colors for a Sue in pants
I need more info (and more time) before I can say yes but it has motivated me to look at trying different Sue patterns.
Here is the one I have been using as a starting point for my Sue Quilt

Don't forget to add me when you finalize the details. I am a SBS junky. I have SBS kitchen towels, SBS socks, SBS apron, just about anything you can get. This is addition to my obsession with roosters. Oh yeah, and of course, fabric:)
