The Dr. said it's OK to bear weight - as much as I'm comfortable with. I haven't stood on that leg alone, but I have been standing on both - equally, I think.

I have not attempted any steps without the walker - maybe tomorrow.
I think my new bedtime is 9:00, and it's almost 9 here now. I'll bid you all 'good night', and check in tomorrow.
Love to all!

Re: Sat Feb 9th sew in????
Okay- I'm back. I had to lay out my block design on my design 'wall' (er...I should say design 'floor'!) The blocks from my mystery quilt are different shades of blue and resemble a bear paw block. I have the colors radiating out from the middle -starting with the lightest blue fabrics in the middle progressing out to the darkest blue shades on the outer edge. I rather like this look (even better than the original design that came with the pattern). The pattern just had the bear paws all helter-skelter in the paw direction and all hodge-podge in color placement. The way I have it laid out gives your eyes a chance to flow 'smoothly' across the quilt! So, I am going to pick up my layout plan and start sewing the blocks into rows. Will check back later. (I had promised Tulpje that I would *FluFF* her pillow! )
PS Lee- I would be willing to share my butterfly pattern with you! hey-I wouldn't be surprised if you already have this pattern!
