What an awful SIL to do that...esp. during a funeral. A pox on her!
What a nice gesture on your part to replicate one that she loved that had sentimental value, Carolyn!

A big hello to you, Tulpje! How ya doing, Girl?

:)

We're having a warm spell today and for a few more days. Mid and high 70's.

I read on-line about that cold snap in the mid eastern states. Where Ann lives it is going to dip below the 20's.

Oh LOL, SewCarolyn, hubby told me it would be fine with him if I would share the cost with someone else to buy a quilting frame that my Juki can go on.

But of course I first need to buy me a new sewing machine before i can part with the old one.

Hey, T- when YOU get ready for bed tonight....let ME *fluff* YOUR pillows!!! LOL That's the least I can do for someone who is feeling somewhat under the weather.

I am going to use an assortment of 30s style feedsack prints, the brighter ones and use a tone on tone white for background

yup my Mom's SIL took the quilts and 2 treadle sewing machines. No one noticed for a while and then it was too late.

Yup, tax return and the rebate check is all we need to supply us for new sewing machines and a quilting frame.
