ME & Carolyn- I agree with you both: Turning Twenty has some very large pieces. I look the looks of YBR better. I've made several of those. YBR pattern makes into quick and colorful baby quilts! And I have made some really BRIGHT ones!

Re: Sat Feb 9th sew in????
no jelly roll for me yet......
but I am tackling something new I took a paper pieced Sunbonnet Sue that was 3 inches and revised it and drafted it up to 8, set it on point and am playing with re-drawing it. My mom remembers helping her Mom make Sun Bonnet Sue quilts in the 30s. (a former sister in law stole them all from the house during my grandmothers funeral in 1960) so I thought I would make Mom a quilt

I just keep looking at the snow and thinking of all of my flower bulbs sleeping under there. I am looking forward to seeing them again.

Looks like the gabbin (sew-in) session is in full swing allready.
Hi every 1. ((ALL))
I just talked to Ann on the phone, and she'll be here in a little bit.
My hubby is on his way to the grocery store in the hope I'll be able to eat any of it.
The good part of this is that if and when I can't eat anything else, I still can eat ice cream and popsickles.

Hey -everyone in the Midwest sounds like their ready for the "Artic Blast"! DH and I loaded the wood bin this afternoon. The stinker....he asked for my help just when my quilting program started!!!! (And I couldn't say no, since he had done all the chopping and splitting!) Guess I shouldn't complain about stacking the wood (that's the EASY part)!
The winds here have been HOWLING something fierce today. Brrrrrrrrrrrrrr!

I am having fun with drafting the design. I love that part of any project. I need to redo a couple of the angles on Sue's bonnet and to get the ribbon the way I want it but it will be cute
