Got those pesky seams pressed and spent most of today squaring the 224 little triangle pieces. Tommorow there are a bazillion 1-3/4" squares to cut out and stitch onto another piece. :)

JudyWoo, hot showers or heating packs, and maybe some Icy Hot, will really help those sore muscles...which I almost always have after a day of squaring up!

It's tedious, but will be worth it in the long run! Hang in there!

Hi Judy, just checking your progress. How are you doing? This will be quite an accomplishment when you're all done. I can't wait to see how it all comes together. Lori

LOL ... how am I doing? Well Lori, so far I've pieced 476 pieces and they are in three neat little stacks. The next step is to sew those three stacks together to make the "x-blocks" ... and that will complete 28 blocks.

The next block pattern has only 189 pieces involved, but they are much smaller pieces ... it has lots of 1-1/2" squares, but that will account for 7 more blocks being completed.

Then there are 30 more blocks for the border. I'll be doing the happy dance by then and maybe ready to take a picture ... I'd say I'm progressing right along. :)

Cant wait to see it. Glad to know there are soooo many pieces so I may never do that one but I do like the pattern.
It would be my luck to come up with extra pieces that I forgot to add somewhere.

Wow, Judy! Very impressive. It sounds like you are very organized and moving right along...better than I'd probably do. Thanks for the update.
