Oh hi, Jennie! Good to hear from you! An HQ16 is a mid-arm quilting machine. It has either a 16" or 18" throat space, I can't remember the exact measurement, but it would be a lot easier than dragging quilts thru my regular sewing machine. I don't mind the small quilts on my home machine, but it kills my arms and wrists and hands trying to quilt those big whoppers on my regular machine. I just hope I can figure out how to use it! LOL!

Hi ME! We've been talking about baby blankies our kids draged around when they were small and how they still love them. We've also been talking about GPs' dad being not so well lately.

so what big plans does everyone have for the weekend? It's DH's 50th birthday on Sunday so we're going out for dinner with my SIL & her DH tomorrow night, nothing fancy, just a nice sports bar. With the forecast on Sunday, I'm not going outside at all. Good reason to stay inside & quilt, right?

Don't know yet Jenny. She was discharged from the hospital this morning. So I'm sure she's home safe and sound. It'll take her a while to recuperate.
