I made a small blankie for DD, too. She takes it places, too, but still prefers the bigger one. I made DS#1's Ziggy bigger so he coudn't drag it around. We made a deal with him that he could only suck his thumb when he had the blankie and he could only have Ziggy when he was in bed. It worked!

Thanks ya'll, you know, this past year my forum friends have truly kept me afloat in many ways. The support, the laughter, etc... it has made a huge difference for me. This forum has been a "soft place for me to fall" and I am so grateful for the wonderful friends I have found here. Ya'll mean the world to me and I love you dearly. Hope I haven't turned this into a bummer, just want to say I love ya'll and thank you so much for everything you do, I appreciate it.

I love hearing about everyone's kid's blankies! We may not always get a lot of sewing done on these Sew-Ins, but we sure do have fun and we NEVER know what topic we're going to get off on! I love it! As my son and I have been doing some spring cleaning we've come across all sorts of things I've saved from his and his brother's childhoods and you're right...they fuss at you for keeping the stuff, but boy, his face sure lit up everytime he ran across something special!

I'm back...the mac'n'cheese is cooking, the timer is set...it's a loud one so I can hear it throughout the house...and I made myself a cup of coffee--HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

Carolyn, if you are having some wine, will you be able to sew? LOL Don't want to lose a fingertip to our rotary cutter now, do we? I love the taste of wine and don't mind an occasional snort, but it kills my motivation to sew!
