Both of the quilts are beautiful, Cindy. What a nice shower gift and what a talented grandmother they have.

Oh Cindy, this is just precious! You did a great job on it! I'm getting so excited for these sweet little babies to arrive, I can't wait to see pics of them! Was this a fun pattern to make? How many weeks till the due date now?

Very nice. I love the colors.

I especially like seeing variations of patterns!! They look so different with various fabrics, etc.

My grandkids call me "GG" which is short for Grandma Gillentine.

GP DD is due April 30 but the doctor said they will probably be taken by c-section early depending on how big they get, how stressed they become and how DD's health holds out. I'm guessing 9 or 10 more weeks. I have a feeling she won't go full term. Right now she would look 9 months pregnant if the babies weren't so high still. Poor thing - she's just over 6 months pregnant.

Thanks everyone for the kind comments. This quilt would have been easier/faster if I'd used the same fabrics for the stripes and nine patches like El's instructions said. It's just like me though to veer off the path a little.

Your veering off the path turned out really well.
