Hi We - I have gone through 4 irons in the last year, finally found a classic black and decker (no automatic shut-off) and gets nice and hot and you don't have to fill it up every two minutes, found it at big lots for $20, think I will go back and get a couple more for backups, just in case - we have very hard water
