Yes -- and it has gotten me motivated. I've got a stack of blocks with sashing waiting to be quilted. I did 2 or 3, and then pieced together batting for another 2 or 3 blocks then decided I needed to do some piecing. Last night I looked in my UFO bin and decided to pull out the wall hangings I started for my aunt and sils last October. One top was completed, but the other two were in the early stage. I managed to get one block complete last night (pieces already cut) and got all but the last piece sewn to the other block. I can't find the piece. Decided it was time to go to bed and will look for it today. I'd love to get these 3 wallhangings done this weekend.

Making progress. I finished the quilting on the blue & scrappy four patch. I am on to the binding. And ready to put the next quilt in the quilt frame, the next one for the quilting is the green & scrappy four patch.

It sure is nice to get a UFO complete. Congratulations, Knitkoid your project is beautiful. On to the next UFO right. LOL

I got my binding attached to the quilt ready for the hand sewing. And I got the next quilt the green four patch in the frame. It was a good weekend to get so much accomplished.

I'm getting close. My Twin Sisters quilt is off the quilting machine. Have to bind it and put the label on and then another Christmas gift will be completed!

Love both those Jewel Box quilts. Hmmm, scrappy - I can do that! LOL I think I may have a "few" lurking about. (wink-grin) Like I NEED another project. hahahahaha

Anyway, I'm new to this group and I'm a UFO-aholic. LOL I've been working with other quilters on the UFO Busters on another forum and due to life in general, that thread will no longer be active. Sooooo we all will be jumping in here to keep ourselves motivated. Sounds like a lively bunch.

Pedal to the metal!

Hi Deanne! Our UFO group has gotten kinda quiet; I am hoping things will pick up soon.

Fall can be such a busy time...kids back to school and all the activities, shorter days, holiday planning and preparation...always feels to me that time passes much faster during this time of year.

Our household is looking at moving at some point before the end of the year. I plan to update my list of UFOs as I pack up my sewing area and craft supplies. I'll post it here for inspiration! BUT I am NOT packing up my stuff until the last possible moment; sewing will help keep me sane through all the packing and cleaning.

I finished one UFO - my Twin Sisters quilt is finished, label and all. That's one Christmas gift down. I have to sew the label onto my Jewel Box quilt and then it will be finished. Another Christmas gift. Next: get out the Christmas panel I bought last year and put a few borders on it and get it quilted. Also, I have my batik quilt still hanging on my design wall - I need to get it quilted but there's no rush there because it's my nap quilt. And THEN - I found the most beautiful fabric in the McCalls Quilts mag - it's Natural Splendor by Wilmington Prints and I HAVE to find that fabric and buy it and I think I'm going to make El's Pink Lemonade quilt with that fabric. I can't believe I fell so in love with that fabric because it has a lot of oranges and golds - my least favorite colors. But, oh, tht fabric is gorgeous!
