quilterbee, I will try to explain. I didn't have a pattern to follow, just a picture. You make a strata of strips. I tried to make them come out to 6 1/2 inches wide. I believe I made 6 strata and then cut them in 60 degree triangles. The background is easy because they are just 6 1/2 inch strips then cut into 60 degree triangles. This is the picture I went by.

WOW. I like you quilt. Do you sew different stips together, iron then cut on an angle? Looks like it would be simple. A great way to use up left over pieces of fabric. Thanks for sharing it is wnderful.
