Inka: This is absolutely beautiful and you colors are so lovely. I saw one done with lace in the center (cream color) with a matching light fabric.

well done!

If you want to study this technique in more detail, go to the links Littlebit and Bonnielass have sent us (thank you so much for sharing!). Littlebit, I am afraid I have never got to the video on hgtv (what happened to it?) - but there are written instructions to be printed (in my opinion some points are not very clear, in fact, and I am still trying to make that out ...)

I found this book online & am debating about buying it? What kind of quilting is involved? Just piecing, foundation, or paper piecing, or what, just curious? I don't want to buy the book, then discover it's not something I would want to do...

Any input would be greatly appreciated as I have always loved the CW designs!

Nancy...(Yours are beautiful, by the way!)

Happymrs, this technique has nothing to do with foundation or paper piecing - it is a special method of piecing, layering and folding the fabric. I wish I had the book!
