Thanks, Tul:) I got it as a mystery quilt kit from my LQS, but it was all green(the background was lighter colors) I didn't like it all green, so I added in a few brighter greens to the bear's paws and an off white for the background(I think I'll use the off white, I have 3 choices and I haven't quite decided yet)

I do have the Northern Star pattern and it was fun to make, too! That'd be nice in flannel. You know what, you ought to go put the flannels in the washer while you plan this quilt, then when you want to make the Twisted Star from flannels they'll be washed already. I think what I like most about the Northern Star, besides making the Flying Geese units, was that large block where you can use one of your gorgeous large scale prints. Speaking of that, have you seen a pattern called "Blossom" from Fig Tree Quilts? It's made to use with those "Moda Layer Cakes" or you can cut your own 10" squares...real easy and quick, been thinking of that one, too.

I have not made one from flannel yet.

I'm not familiar with that pattern GP. Sound nice and easy tho.
Traffic is too heavy downstairs right now LOL, with all those boys moving about.

Oopsk, I better go take my apple pie out of the oven.

There it is Tul, my DH loves it... I agree with GP, you should put your flannel in the wash and it will be all ready for when you want to use it.....
