Well, the one I saw the pic of was absolutely darling! This one will be cute, too, I'm sure!

I'm going to make cornbread to go with our home-made vegetable soup for dinner. We had a "taste test" of the soup earlier because we couldn't wait, and now we've had hot wings and are ready for the soup with cornbread, and I'm thinking I need to open a can of collard greens to go with it! I tell you, it gets cold and I start cooking and eating like crazy! LOL! Be back in a few........

Good Evening everyone!

Just came up from the sewing room to fix something for supper! Was watching the news about the weather for the Green Bay and thought of MaryEllen right away--wondered if you were going to be bundled up in the stands for the game or safely tucked away under a quilt in front of the TV!! And saw the snow in Atlanta!!! It's -6 here in MN now and I have only ventured out as far as the mail box at the end of the driveway today!

All I've been able to accomplish today is several loads of laundry, changed my sheets, and cleaning up the sewing room! Just doing the sewing room took HOURS!!!! I have manged to cut and start sewing another center for the RR, didn't like the first one. The new one has 16 flying geese that are 2x3 & 1/2.. man that's tiny!!! Got those all sewed and after supper I might run down and see if I can finish piecing. Will post a photo probably tomorrow! Oh and I did manage to sneak in a nap! My favorite part of the day!

Well, going to get my chicken nuggets out of the oven before I burn them!! Will check in with y'all later!

Hello all,

I haven't read what's been going on... thankfully it's only 3 pages.

I have my blocks cut out for the breast cancer blocks I owe, I just need to sew them together....

Other than that I have been house cleaning today..... yuck.

What are you all up to?

mcmema, your quilt sounds so precious... can't wait to see a picture. She will look beautiful all wraped up in it... of course she is a cutie pie with or without a quilt.

Hi Spud, your quilt sounds neat... do you draw the animals freehand before you cut them out? I don't have any where's near that talent.

I don't have that talent either Chriss, LOL. I find coloring book pages and sometimes I tweak them. If they need a real overhaul my husband helps.

Hi, maryq & Chriss! Got the cornbread put in the oven and of course, had to have a small glass of buttermilk while I had it out...I'll tell you, I'm flat going to explode if I continue munching the rest of the night like I have been so far! If ya'll hear a loud "boom!" from the south, then you'll know what it was! LOL!

MaryQ......sounds like you've had a busy day!! No, I won't be in the stands tomorrow night watching the game. I'll be in my full Packer gear curled up in my recliner, with my green & gold boa & fleece blanket. (I'll try to get DH to take a picture...sure hope the camera doesn't break!!) I didn't even get out to the mailbox today, I sent him along with the dog. Just trying to stay warm & cozy. It seems like the furnace hasn't turned off all day & it'll be getting colder as the night goes on.....bbbbbbbrrrrrrr!! I want summer back!!

I got my RR appliques all traced out, am ready to iron them on & then I'll be back while I cut them out.

Re *HI* ((ALL))

Just got done with dinner. That sure was yummy :P
My quilt room is messy, and I'm sitting there with my laptop amids all the mess. Books and fabrics everywhere.

The "BOYS" are all still outside on the patio, all bundled up. they either have to start the firepit, or move their game inside.

I've been looking for my twisted star pattern everywhere, but can't find it.
