Fabric types
I know this sounds like a strange question, but I'm not real "up" on types of fabrics, but I really need to know: are reproduction and 30's fabrics the same thing? thanks so much, carol/kittyquilt

Re: Fabric types
Hi Carol, I'm taking a little break from the Quiltville quilt, my THIRD!!
No and yes! Reproduction fabrics are a reproduction of any fabrics from the past, 30's included. BUT, usually repro fabrics are 1800's. 30's fabirc are so popular that they are called-30's. While they are a repro, they've earned their name, 30's fabric. Repros/1800's fabric are darks, the fabrics that was used in the 1800's. HTH, Amie
PS- Diane is done with the Baby quilt and it's on the way to Ann for binding! She's emailing me pics. PM me your email addy and I'll forward them to you.
