Sharon, you are a cool grandma. Those quilts are super and I'm sure your grands will love them. Amazing how switching the colors changes the appearance of each quilt. Good job.

Sharon, these are beautiful! Very clever in the way you traded the colors around...I am sure sometimes siblings who are close in age get tired of the "matchy matchy" thing. At first glance these look like different patterns entirely. Nice work!

Great job, Sharon! I really like how you did the same pattern, but with different colors. You picked a cool pattern too that I think is perfect for boys. Lori

The pattern was generated by the boys mom--she has done their room in stars!! These two did not get a 'baby quilt' when they were born, hence they were the first to get 'big' quilts.
The pattern is just 4 1/2 inch unfinished 4 patch, solid patch and 1/2 square triangles. The tops were very easy to put together. The hard part was the quilting. DH had a hand in helping with that decision and I was happy with the results.
