Autograph Star Block swap

I am working on mine today and Thursday, I hope to be done by then if nothing else goes wrong. I have my MRI on Wednesday so I won't be able to do anything then.

Came home tonight after finding out that I am leaving on business for the rest of the week, will be home on Sat/Sun but will have to get ready to be gone again the next week for sure and maybe the next two weeks. Been given a special assignment that is very exciting, it will be a great boost for me at work but it could take up to three weeks and can be anywhere in the state so............I know I can not get the rest of my blocks done by March 31. So to be fair to all involved, I am going to have to pull out of the swap. Don't worry, the blocks won't go to waste, I think I will send them to be used in the disaster quilt tops. I am sorry to have to pull out but I don't want anyone to have to wait and I know I can't finish them for at least another month and that wouldn't be fair to any of you. Please post pictures of your quilts when you finish, maybe I will try the next one. Happy stitching!! Debi

My blocks went out priority mail today! Yippee! I am happy dancing all over the place! I did not square mine up, I left them for everyone to do themselves in case they get scrunched in the mail or something. Hope that's ok? Janciequilts, thank you for hostessing this for us!

Frustrated here. I have spent many hours working on my autograph blocks, but cannot get stars right and have ruined several sets. In between had some problems with my machine and was away several times. I had hoped to complete this by Tuesday, but could not. Just spent this morning on this some more to no avail. I am so sorry and so disappointed.

I have read the advice given to others, and tried a couple of approaches to completing this project. I decided my skills with machine and/or assembly are just not good enough. I am taking a six-session quilting class that starts this Sunday.

Mailed my blocks on Wednesday priority mail so you should have them soon. Really enjoyed this, but I was so glad to be done. I can't wait to see all the blocks.

I have a few more blocks left but my sewing machine is jammed, I have to bring it into my dealer tomorrow. I hope to get these finished and mailed by Thursday. PLease don't be angry at me
