GP, that sounds like so much fun... I know we lost the war, but how interesting... my family was in the civil war.... I even inherited a photo of General Lee.... I love history....

That's really funny to me, GP, because my DH would do the reenactments if he could! He actually asked me to make him a quilt to take with him, so of course it had to be as accurate as possible. And I, like an idiot, let him pick the pattern so now I'm in the middle of making 100 6" Jacob's ladder blocks on the treadle, which will then have to be hand quilted. And he askes me every time we talk if I've finished it yet. If I didn't know he was kidding, I'd have to smack him.

Its been about 55 cold, raining, windy. Should clear up by the middle of next week.

I tell you, that stocking project wore me to a frazzle this year. I am ever so glad we did it, and we're going to do it again, too. I think it was hard because we didn't really know what we were doing and were winging it and learning as we went along. That, plus, it was an awfully emotional project and I felt like I was on a roller coaster...laughing one minute and crying the next! Or, maybe it was because I'm getting older and am a wimp! LOL! Oh, certainly it can't be that! LOL!

Night, Barb......have a wonderful visit with your son. We really do appreciate what he does for all of us.

GP......you a wimp? Never.........I picked up some Christmas fabric today that was 60% off for the next round of stockings. Kind of a retro ornament fabric, it's really neat.
