Carin, the block is great. I haven't done flying geese yet. It is a challange. Yours is so nice. I think the points are fine.

Great job - the light fabric actually adds lots of "movement" to your geese pattern.

I don't know, but I think those FG look really really good!! Did you use El's method? There's less cutting if you use the "old fashioned way" but with El's method they don't get "wocky" and crooked. I always having trouble if I don't use El's method. El's rulers make all the difference in the world!!

Re: breast cancer block
Thanks everyone, I think the part that bothers me is the one "goose" in the center pinwheel doesn't quite touch.
I am using El's ruler and method I would hate to even try to do it the other way.

Very pretty. I like the color. Your points look fine to me. If I'm not satisified with something I put a button or some kind of embellishment over it. I keep a large supply of buttons because I make a lot of mistakes.

I am impressed....and aren't we always more critical of our own work. I haven't attempted a flying geese block yet I only hope my first try looks nearly as wonderful as yours

Your geese are flying in the direction they are supposed to be flying, so ....GREAT job!
And I love the bright cheerful pink color you selected! ~Marcia
