Hello everybody in the New Year! Thank you for your praise and tolerance! With this bag I wanted to try two things - the braid (which I paperpieced - but maybe it is not necessary to) and this special (Japanese) bag (which I had received advice about from a friend). Lamenting over my modest stash I decided not to slash "the beautiful ones" for this experiment - so the result made of remnants is a bit unusual... The pattern is again a simple rectangle sandwich but sewn together folded more times. Unfortunately, the only thing one can not do without is the zipper, ouch... The sides and bottom of the bag must be sturdy enough but the bulk in the seams must remain manageable ... I consider these baggies quite a challenge - but am not going to give up!
