I will be so happy to see 2007 put to bed. LOL As we read thru all the posts, it becomes clear that we have become such a close bunch, laughing and crying together, sharing the good and not so good and being there for each other no matter what. We are all so blessed to have found this forum & each other.

This forum has opened a whole new world for me.
I have never had so many friends EVER.
And I have met a few of here face to face allready.
In Paducah there will be 34 of us.

We're going to drive to there. Will be a 3 to 4 days drive.

2300 miles one way.

Are you going to any of the QIAD events this year potato Q?

There is the road to California.

4 retreats in Julian, 2 in May and 2 in November.
Her Alaska cruise and Paducah.

And then there is Houston and tennesee I believe.

I signed up this year for the November retreat. Went for the 1 st session, liked it so much I asked if there were any cancelations for the second session and I got lucky.

Julian is only like 1 hour drive away from me.At the end I signed up for a full week, that is 2 sessions at Julian for next november.

I would love to go!! I know that after DD has moved out, those types of trips will be possible but for now it just wouldn't work. I guess that means I have something to look forward to. I will need it then because I will probably be a basket case after she leaves.

I am so thankful for each of you...there are times when we all just need to chat and knowing that we are all here for each other makes the tough times easier.
