Re: Strip Quilt
Wow! How much fun is that! How cute and inspiring to use up our scraps! I have been inspired in the last few scrap quilts I have seen....now this one.....I just dumped out a whole drawer of scraps and am sorting and cutting into usable pieces....for charity quilts mostly. This quilt looks great!

Re: Strip Quilt
Thanks to everyone for the kind comments about the quilt. To quiltqueen98--the squares finished at 6.5 inches. I was so intent on getting the picture posted that I forgot to give credit to Bonnie Hunter on quiltville.com. This quilt pattern, Basket-weave String quilt, and many other scraps quilts are shown on her site complete with directions.
The fabic strips for each square were sewn on a paper backing which was removed before trimming each block to size. Even the setting triangles were easy. Machine quilting on my home machine wasn't too bad. Baseline quilting each row in each direction stabilized all the layers and made for easier stippling.
