I want one of your boas, Tul! And your fabric:) I actually just placed my first QIAD order yesterday. When I was looking at my cart, it said "free gift" so I'm hoping it'll be my very own boa:) I'll post a pic when I get it if it is.

Hi, Fran! Well, I'm eating pie, JW gave me permission and that's all it took! I didn't even wait for it to cool, just cut a piece and put one of those "pie dams" things in so it'd keep the filling from running out .....and it is goooooood! DH came in and saw me sitting here in my nest chowing down on cherry pie and just rolled his eyes. I said, "What????!!!" Like, how dare you interrupt and put negative vibes on my cherry pie eating experience! ROFLOL!!! This is exactly what I would fuss at him and the boys about doing...but....oh well! LOL!

Hi all!!! Been working on an ARK-angel project....

I've been working on ironing fabric today... My good iron has been worn out, so I have to use the $10 one - I am so used to that shot of steam, or spray of water, I really miss the auto shut off, too!

Hey, you'll never guess how I'm going to spend the last day of the year???!!!! Shopping with lifeisgrand in Ames!

So many people shopping this week:) I did go to my LQS today to make sure I signed up for the International Mystery quilt series that they're doing, and of course I had to buy fabric:) But I just got one piece, and it was a neutral which I desperately need. I'm going to be trying to stick to neutrals for a while, I don't have very many yet.

Hi GP, yes we had a wonderful time with the grandkids. We spent Christmas with our daughter and her family and then to our sons and his family. Great time.

HI Jameswife, Tulpje and FranW. Hope everyone is staying warm.

Hey, Cindy! Oh, that is so cool, be sure and tell lifeisgrand that I said hello! Try to get a pic of the two of you for us, ok? I took pics of my projects and now the camera cable isn't working and we can't get the pics to transfer.

I got three cheesecakes from a co-worker for Christmas! Three!!! OMG, they are from Chicago - one was (note: "was") chocolate chip!!! I think it's a good thing DH dropped the 1/2 that was left on the floor - and it was only a 6" one!!! Shot his blood sugar level all over the place!

Me too Cindy, but my hubby gave me EQ6 for Christmas. I have not had a chance to even open it yet.
