Loved your pictures. I noticed that in the one with the river that the water doesn't freeze solid like it does here in Minnesota. Even the Mighty Missippi freezes over except for in the middle part. All the big lakes (even rivers) around me are all frozen over with ice fishing houses on them (like in "Grumpy Old Men") I love the snow except when I have to shovel and drive in it. Oh Well!

THanks all! The Mississippi will probably be frozen before too long around here. It's staying pretty cold nowadays. The bald eagles are arriving and will be here until spring. It's very awesome to see them. We saw a couple out on some big ice chunks in the river today. They ride and eat on the ice blocks sometimes.
Believe it or not - Rocky LOVES the snow! I can't hardly keep him in the house. And then I can't hardly get him BACK in the house, lol. He can be quite hard headed. I'm thinkin' it's because he's a male, lol.

Great pictures. I miss the snow at Christmas! I'll live vicariously through your pictures and not have to drive in the snow. Carol

Really great pictures. The snow looks so inviting. You do a great job of framing your shots.

Had to chuckle at Rocky in that pic with his dashing sweater. LOL Could just hear his thoughts. LOL
Those snow pics are just breathtaking!!!!!! I want to move THERE! I am so thankful for all of God's beauty. I'm certain that the snow causes problems for a lot of folks but it is just beautiful!!! I really really appreciate you taking the time to share these. In some of the pics, all that was missing was a sleigh. Bubbles I hope you realise how lucky you are to live there. Thanks again.

Thanks again ladies! Yes, Rocky was muttering I'm sure, LOL.
Cathy, I very much love living here! I grew up in flatland central Illinois in corn & bean territory where you could see for miles and miles because there were no hills and the only trees were around the farmhouses, lol. We've been in Missouri now for 15 years and we love it!

"Bubbles" (I just love that handle!!), I sure am glad I am in AZ right now. Your pics really bring back memories. I do love the wild turkeys!! One of the last winters I spent in Central NY I drove home in snow that was about 2 feet deep. It came down so fast that I left 3 marks in the road, 2 tires and a license plate. I did make it home, but we were snowed in for 3 days. You couldn't see the car in the driveway because it was so deep!!
Pretty to look at, miserable to work & drive in.
Merry Christmas!!
