Thank you to patsyann06 for my gifts. They are wonderful anything sewing or quilting is always for me. All of the booklets are wonderful, the pins, pin holder, seam ripper and a new rotary cutter are always of use. Now I don't have to fight my daughter for the cutter. She is 16 and finally getting the sewing bug at times. I make costumes for her for conventions that her and her brother and sister go to. Now she can try making some of them. The little sock purse is cute as a button and the tea pot note pad will help with my list of wants. The 6 cuts of fabric and the ribbon are beautiful. Also a project storage. I'm out of breath. Sorry I can't send a picture but my son-in-law lost my camera on Labor day weekend. Oh well pictures later. Merry Christmas.
I am not a mother of nine (9) just 4. Three girls and 1 boy, and 2 son-in-laws and one very precious granddaughter.

Merry Christmas everyone this was great fun.

Kittyquilt - I don't have a gift to open yet either. I know that mine is on the way - there was a little mix up. I'm having fun just reading what everyone else is getting! I hope you get your gift or at least hear something really soon.

What a day!! I overslept this morning and had to work this afternoon, which ran late since I missed 2 days last week being sick...then I hurried home to let the poochies out, and finally got to sit down hit the computer, while opening my WONDERFUL Secret Santa presents--all TEN of them!!! :)

Dear Susan/scraphappie66 - THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!! How beautiful and thoughtful. Starting with your lovely, friendly card telling me more about yourself.

Susan made me a beautiful quilted runner in blues and yellow (a very favorite color combination of mine, too), with a lovely teacup pattern in the center, bordered by light yellow and then a deeper blue, with a square in each corner featuring 3 more teacups and a teapot!!! LOVE IT!

Next was a beautiful quilted clutch-type bag with four compartments --each jammed with many smaller and individually wrapped notions and a "Teas the Season" quilt pattern - one figure for each month, with several teacups hanging from buttons at the lower end of the quilt - just precious. The bag itself was also made by Susan in another tea-themed fabric on a delightful mint green background, with many different teapots, intertwined with the words "cup of kindness".

Notions included tracing wheel, quilter's tape measure, large spool of lavender thread, quilting betweens, quilt basting needles, a sewing guage, seam ripper and bamboo pointer and creaser!!! WOW!!!

I feel soooooooooooooooo special, and just thrilled. I will try to get a picture posted.

P.S. In her card, she "apologized" (can you imagine that!!) for being unable to find the fabrics in lavender or purple (which I had mentioned as favorite colors). NO NEED FOR THAT APOLOGY, SUSAN. Everything is just wonderful, and so thoughtful. Just love it.

Merry Merry Christmas to you, and [[[[[[[[[[[hugs]]]]]]]]]]]]

My gift was all the way from PA... Akeleyquilter.... whose real name is Karen sent me the most wonderful gifts... In the card was a hand quilted angel... I really love angels and have one in every room... this one will hang in my sewing room. and I received three patterns that were created by women in her area... they are beautiful. ONe of them even has three sizes one of which is a tree skirt... yahoo. I have 4 fat quarters, they are beautiful and I will surely put them to good use.

Then, if that wasn't enough, I received a tin of Moda 5" charms with a CD that has recipes and directions for a quilt...

annnndddd... yes, there's more... I just love it..... A large coffee mug looking tin cup that says buttons on it... and some buttons to go into the cup...and, a "deluxe" seam ripper... she must know I am a pro at ripping seams..... I will sure get use out of it...

and, then I got a recipe book from her local Methodist church... this is special for me because my grandparents, great grandparents belogned to the Methodist church here and I have inherited their recipe books... this one will go right next to theirs.... after I read through it....

Thank you Karen, you really have outdone your self... I truly will enjoy each and everything in my package.

God Bless you....

Lifeisgrand, Thank you soooooooo much !1 I love everything. I opened my beautifully wrapped package to find a craft tote that is the neatest thing. It is a tote with pockets all around it that held 5 beautiful blue fat quarters. Then inside was a book with 4" block patterns from A- Z,and a real cute holiday pattern for a wall hanging. Then a mug with hot chocolates in . I love the scent of the fresh cotton candle. And also included was a beautiful newspaper article that was wrote about Marcia when she was awarded "Cook of the week". Also was a picture of her lovely family at her daughters wedding. Beautiful looking family Marcia. Thanks again.
