Christmas Panel Quilted

I volunteered to quilt this wall hanging panel for a friend. She told me not to fuss and just do a simple meander all over. I thought it would take 30 minutes from start to finish. Ha! I started out fine on the outside but couldn't bring myself to quilt over Santa's face.LOL. So it ended up being a custom job with lots of thread color changes (and even some thread art on the orange noses) and 4 1/2 hours later I'm really happy with how it turned out.

That is beautiful. I don't think I will ever be able to do machine quilting. lOve the colors

I have an Elvis panel to do for Julia! Groan! I've put it off until the last minute...maybe she'll get it for Valentine's Day - or maybe MLK Day, if I'm lucky!
