How do you know if you hve the blade in correctly? Also the washer in my olfa is bent and is that normal?? The washer is the flat thing that goes on before the screw.

Sandy, the washer is supposed to be 'bent'. It's kind of like a spring. Put it over the screw so that the edges flare UP. I don't think it matters which way the blade is put in. What brand of rotary cutter do you have?
