HI everybody... came in to check up on everybody.... How's the night going for youse guys? (that's Minnesotan for y'all)

Just taking a break to fix something for supper. The neck and back are a little stiff and sore tonite so don't think I'll get much more sewing done. Going to do a little cutting of fleece for mittens tonite to sew tomorrow after work.

I did manage to get this done tonite just the top tho

The main block is called "Double Friendship Star" from quilterscache and I just turned them on point and filled in the sides. Only had to rip out one seam and do over... I'm having so much fun.

With all the snow we had here today would have been a perfect day to stay in ALL DAY

Hi Everybody - Mary that is so pretty :) We missed out on the freezing rain this morning (It is now 60 degrees??) so my quilting class was not cancelled. We learned how to do foundation paper piecing, used the pineapple pattern, it is fun after you understand the directions! Will probably make a table runner out of the ones I got made and give it to one of the sil's for Christmas. Will be popping in and out :)

Just thought I'd pop in and say hello, havent' decided if I will be doing any sewing tonight. I spent all day working on making a sewing basket and a small bank, these will be Christmas gifts. The sewing basket came out so cute that now DD#3 wants one too, to me that is the sign of a successful project.

Susanna, sorry to hear that you are not feeling well. Dec. 13th does seem like a long time to wait but I am going through a similar problem waiting on specialty appointments right now. I pray that you find some relief from your symptoms soon.

GP, I hope you didn't lose too much hair to the sewing machine. When I am working on a particularly difficult project I sometimes joke and say I am fighting with my sewing machine, but you really were.LOL I guess you will be okay as long as there is still enough hair to hold up that tiara.LOL Joking aside I hope it didn't hurt too bad.

Littlebit, isn't paper piecing kinda fun? It took me about 3 or 4 tries to remember how to do it, but once I got the hang of it again I was really enjoying it.
