I love your quilt. The fish are so colorful and look like they would be easy to make. The snakes look so real. You did great with this quilt. I know the grandbaby will love it.

Marymargaret, The weeds are easy!! I traced the pattern that comes with the book on plastic template sheet then traced it onto the light green material. I cheated by taking the 2 different colors of green and sewing them right sides together on the line I drew, turned right sides out & pressed. The directions called for just sewing a single line of stitching up the center to make them 3D. I didn't want that with a new one, so stitched close to the edge & them up the center. You can also do it with iron on fusible if you want.
This was close to the fastest & easiest baby quilt I have done.
