oooohh, a scrappy Maple Leaf, love that pattern! You know what I've wanted to make for ages? A Bear's Paw from flannels and homespun plaids. One of these days. Cathy, next week I have to make 400 cards for our customers and it's cheaper to buy bulk cardstock than it was to buy pre-made cards and envelopes. So, that's how I wound up with my toy! LOL! And now I don't want to make cards...I just want to use it for quilting! Big surprise there! LOL! fatcat, how late do you have to work tonight? It's 7:47 p.m. here, what time is it where ya'll are?

It's been challenging because I'm not following a pattern. I just played with my blocks until I came up with something I am happy with.

It's all homespuns & autumnal prints. 6" & 12" blocks with sashing strips & corner stones.

MM, I'll bet it's beautiful, can't wait to see a pic of it! I'm going to the sewing room for about 20 min. and get these Tumbler shapes cut out, then I'll be back up here for a fresh cup of hot chocolate and pie, and to gab some more! JoAnnes was very busy. I don't like to shop in crowds esp when I'm feeling lousy. I looked for books, didn't find anything I couldn't live without, I bought needles, a teflon pressing sheet & basting spray. Nothing too exciting.
