Hello I am looking for baby quilt patterns. I am currently making a pinwheel baby quilt and was told yesterday I am going to be a great grandma. Don't know boy or girl yet. But I have this little piece of green bug and firefly fabric that would make a great center with something built around it. So I taking help for idea's. Thank you, Juju

Welcome JuJu! Have you thought about a simple 9-patch? They work up quickly and you can put lots of fabrics, or just a few, to make a really stricking quilt.

I love the churn dash pattern because it is simple and easy to do. There are so many you could do. My favorites are pinwheels though.

Half square triangles and 9 - Patches around it would be real cute. Sashings and there are so many pretty fabric prints/colors to choose from. Good Luck and Congrats! on learning the new baby is coming.

First of all Marilynsgrammy that is one cute quilt. And second my grandson called his mom and said they lost the baby. You know how some times you feel something and at the time you don't know why you feel it? I just did not want to post my post about needing help picking out another pattern. But I did any way and I have came back to this post time and time again and just looked at it. I guess some body was telling me not to get into a hurry to make a quilt. I know it was gods will. But pray for them if you will. I know they are hurting.

I am sorry about the loss of the baby Juju. My son and DIL lost their first one(on my son's birthday). I will keep them in my prayers. It is a difficult thing to go through.

We are sorry for the loss, and I know how hard this is. A woman wants to blame it on themselves. But, there is a reason. We will be thinking of them and remembering them. Our hugs to you also.
