Very nice! Why in the world would you clean on Sunday?....Sunday afternoons are perfect for sewing...you need to adjust your lifestyle!

Cleaning is a job, the results of which can´t be seen - leave the mess for a while - only then the difference will be more appreciated by your family! I like your courage to have tried free motion on a pieced project, we all need sooooooooooooo much practice to dare do the same ...

I kind of made up the pattern.. Just fussy cut 6 .5" squares of the floral (which I bought last year on clearance at Joann) then 3.5 x 6.5 flying geeses and 3.5" squares in the corner. I have another one cut out, but am deciding how to swith them up a little for a different effect. I was in a MOOD one day and just made up a bunch of flying geese... so am trying to use them up!!
On the green pieces I quilted it with a leave stitch on my fancy sewing machine! just to try something different
The free motion was easier than I thought, but you do have to go slow. What's nice about it is you really can't make a mistake! It will look like you MEANT to do it that way LOL
