Pics of a few made up Christmas Lotto Blocks. . . . . . .

Post by Oasis » Sun Nov 18, 2007 2:16 pm

I've been working on layouts for my blocks and this is what I have gotten partially done so far. I also have 2 more runners and a table top layed out and ready to put together.

The first one is a table runner. I haven't tried runners before but everyone's pictures of them have been really nice, so I tried one.

This is a lap quilt (still need to put a backing on it) to just put over the back of the sofa.

This lap quilt will go to a elderly gentleman that is confined to a wheelchair and goes to my friends church. He always has these little peppermint candies in his pocket. My Friend saw these blocks and we decided to give it to him as a "Just Because" gift. She will place it on his wife's place at the end of the pew where he sits beside her in his chair.

Really nice work! The peppermint stripe border on the lap quilt is going to be perfect for that gentleman!

Very pretty. I really like the block...does it have a particular name? Love the peppermint candy one...the old gentleman should love it.
