I've been so busy today I couldn't even check the forum! I had the most wonderful surprise last night! Yep, my gorgeous quilt arrived! I was so shocked and stunned and confused, just totally overwhelmed! Here's what the label says:

Quilts make the best gifts!
I never met anyone who didn't love a quilt!
I know I sure never met a quilt I didn't love!
And you can't have too many quilts or too much cotton fabric!

I am so deeply touched by this quilt, I can't even begin to put it into words! I'm not sure what the occasion for it was, or if it was a "just because" gift, all I know is it is so precious to me and I treasure it! I didn't want to mess it up, but just HAD to spread it out over me and sleep under it last night...I wanted it close to me! I can't remember when I've laughed and cried so much in one night, I wore myself out! LOL! The pics do not do this beauty justice, you should see it in person, it is just gorgeous and I love it so much! It has gorgeous applique, 1930 repro prints in the 9 patches, scalloped border, wool batting that feels like a dream, and the most perfect label you can imagine! The quilting is so beautiful! I have run my fingers over the embroidered names of my sweet friends and start to cry, then look at the peach and get a smile, and then read that quote they took from a post I'd made awhile back...and laugh so hard!!! That label represents it all and is just perfect. DH is going to take my pic with the quilt and post it this weekend. I have never been touched by anything so much in my life, I tell you, this was a random act of kindness that I will cherish the rest of my life. I truly cannot express how much this quilt means to me and how very special all of you are to me, I mean, just how full of love can a heart get?! Ya'll are the best! You would have really laughed at me last night, I got so excited I went beserk with happiness! Thank you just doesn't cover it, and I want you all to know how loved you have made me feel and how much I love ya'll, too. It's really true, I wrapped up in my beautiful quilt and felt hugged! I love ya'll so much...thank you!!!! Oh, I'm happy dancing all over the place!! ROFLOL!! Oh, it's so good to be the Queen! ROFLOL!!! Just teasing, I just couldn't help myself saying that!!! LOL! Yahoo! Yippee! Life is soooo good! I'm on top of the world! Step outside....you hear that noise???...it's me whooping it up down in Georgia!!! LOL!
