I am so sorry about the loss of your father and it brings back memories (not very far away) of my father's passing. We were very close & afterwards I had a hard time quilting or doing anything. A friend suggested I sew for soldiers, who needed adaptive clothing after injuries and that really helped me get interested again.
We'll include you in our prayers.

Debbie, so sorry about your Dad. I know how sad of a time it is, my Dad passed 12 1/2 years ago and I still miss him.

I am new to this group Is the challenge of using scraps still going, and can we add progress photos for inspiration!? I would love to join in the fun.

Good Morning and Welcome Nan. So glad you have joined the forum and looking forward to getting to know you. Of course you can jump in on this challenge and you bet, we just love pics! I keep looking at patterns and do not know for sure what pattern I will use, but am anxious to do this. I really love scrappy! Anyway, just wanted to say hello and welcome you to the group.

I'm going to do the BOM at Claudia's Quilt Shoppe. It started in October, and I got caught up over the christmas vacation. So, now I'm ready to do the January blocks. Those squares from the charm swaps are coming in handy. It's really scrappy.

I have my first scrap quilt about 3/4 finished. I would love to make another. I plan to use ALL my scraps this winter. I've been using scraps and small pieces for several years, Hopefully this winter will finish them all.

Everytime I go to the Quiltville site, I find another scarpy quilt that I'd like to try. Isn't a nice quilt site?
