I have visited Bonnie's site many times and cannot wait to start Boxy Stars. It seems like a great way to use up lots of my scraps. I might even make that one for me.

This sounds like a lot of fun! I'll give it a try.

I love Bonnie's site too. Scrap quilts are my favorites and I have tons of scraps but don't make as many as I would like to (don't ask me why) I'll take the challenge and maybe that will boost my productivity. In the meantime I have way too many Christmas gifts that I haven't even started and some in mad stream. Better get off and start sewing. LOL

Hi again, I keep coming back to this thread. NOTHING IS HAPPENING!!!Girls, what are all of you working on?

Who has started on their challenge???

Who is working on the Boxy Star?????

Has anyone found another good pattern for scraps????

I'm having fun doing the Triangle Galaxy. I have several blocks made and enjoying using my scraps.

Earlier this year I followed Bonnie's guidelines and have several shoe boxes of pre-cut squares, rectangles and strips. Right now I'm sewing my pastel 2" squares into 4-patches to make Candy Stripes from the BHG Quilt Lovers' Favorites volume 2. I haven't gone through my stash since I decided on this quilt to see if I'll need any more lights. I know I need the pink & white stripe - but hey - there's another 6 weeks in the year!

Seriously, I do tend to go through my stash and do quilts -- although I usually end up buying border fabric - I don't have much yardage - mostly fq and scraps.

Sorry!! I got distracted for a minutle, lol!!! Well, I'm ready to start cutting and have memorized the pattern, can you believe a do that??? I read them 50 times and then start. I wish we'd swapped some scrap 2.5" strips. Does anyone want to swap a few with me?? Amie

Quiltville....what a great site! I bookmarked it so I will go back and take a closer look at all the fun stuff. I hate to use too small scraps because they confuse me....I will read her senario on saving them and sorting them and maybe I can be more efficient in the scap department. I love scrap quilts, but almost always start matching fabrics up instead of just having fun with them...and being scrappy!
