How about placing them on a quilt ladder? Then you can have them all in a row and people can see them. By the way, they are a very special treasure that I would want to show off as well.

Ladies, I hope this doesn't confuse anyone. These are post I made under another thread after I asked if hand pieced quilts could be LA quilted. The overwhelming advice was NO. I posted this to the ladies that gave me such good advice. I'm putting it here as clarification

Thanks everyone for your advice. I agree, it should be hand quilted but I have not been able to find anyone around here to do it. Charleston is not big on quilting, hand or machine. It has been a couple of years since I tried to find hand quilters so maybe I'll try again. Since you all seem to agree with me, that I have a treasure, I thought I would post some of my Mom's quilts in the photo section.
Thanks again for your advice.

Ladies, we did it. I took your advice and called the LQS. They gave me the name of a church that has a quilting group. I called the church and although they wouldn't give me the name of the person to contact, they took my name and number and the person called me within a few min. That is the good part but the not so good part is that my name is on a list but there are about 20 quilts before mine. I have had this quilt top for 4 years and now it is on a list. I'm making progress. These 12 ladies quilt one morning per week. It may be another 4 years before the top is quilted. I was invited to come by the church and see their work. I plan to do that next week.
Thank you all for your encouragement. You got my butt off the dime. I'm so glad you did. Isn't this a great group?
