Re: Houston show
I had a very hectic, horrible day at work yesterday....but I'm still on a high from the Houston quilt show. Meeting these forum girls, the class with El and Sue, and the shopping - WOO HOO. Only 360 days until next year's quilt show!!! Next year I'm taking a class one day and shopping for two.

Re: Houston show
Does anyone know when the Show in Houston, is next year? Had a gal ask me today & I had no idea nor know of anyway to find out.
Cindyg I am sorry you are having a bad day at work. I have deep cleaned the house, got the laundry all done and put away, ran some errands and have Chicken Soup on, cooking. It is cold here today 55 with wind. Supposed to get down to 32 tonight.

Cathy - you can go online to www.quiltsinc.com to find out next year's dates. I think that's the correct website.
EDIT: Cathy - it's just www.quilts.com. I came home and looked it up.

Thanks CindyG. I looked but could not find a date so I emailed them asking. Our Rep. from A-1 called and said that the Hilton was probably already booked for 2008!!!!!!!! They better not be totally booked. LOL

Re: Houston show
The LA will arrive in huge wood boxes on Thursday or Friday. Gerald & his wife Sandy will come Saturday morning through Sunday to help set it up and get us started with a few lessons. I am scared senseless!!!! Machinery intimidates the HE*L out of me. I'm not joking, I am SCARED!!!!!!!!!!! Richard is as excited as a kid at Christmas. I am the type that I would rather do things by hand than use any type of machinery. Even in the kitchen. It took forever before I would use a sewing machine. And then I got a Bernina with few buttons. 10 yrs later I have still not used even 1/2 of them.LOL I am so nervous & scared, the IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) has set in and I am a wreck! Thanks for being excited. Wish I was. LOL I know it will be fine once I learn how to use the thing, but the process may drive me Bazerk! Two overwhelming weekends in a row is wayyyy toooo much for this Simple gal. LOL Please don't laugh, but realise how serious I am.

Iquiltin' you will surely have to plan on going next year if at all possible! Would really love to meet you too. I wish ALL OF YOU great people could go. GP would faint with all the fabric to choose from! I don't know if she could stand the pressure. LOL Maybe we could ALL try to do this once every 2-3 yrs and have a great reunion~! DH & I met the nicest ladies on the elevator from England and Canada, so they come from all over the place for this.
