I am a brand new quilter

Post by Mahoney1 » Mon Oct 29, 2007 6:01 am

Hi all. I am just learning how to quilt. I watch Eleanor Burns show every week and save those I think I can handle. I am trying to find a pattern for her Four Sister Quilt. It came from a show from 2003.
does anyone know where I can find this pattern.

Thank you, Karen

I just bought the "Still Strippin" book and DVD not too long ago. I love the DVD. It's 5 hours of quilting with just Eleanor. I can watch her do a part then stop it and do it myself, then start it again when I'm ready. Like having a personal lesson.

Welcome to the forum Mahoney, you will learn a lot from these Ladies.

If you didn't get the dvd, just call customer service at QIAD and see if they shipped your order yet. If they haven't, tell them you want the combo because then you get the dvd for only $10 more!

They are very nice about this. I know, I've done it twice and they were very accommodating about it.

Welcome! I love to quilt, it is my therapy, sometimes it keeps me sane! I just got the Egg Money Quilt book for a gift. I can't wait to do that one!

I was able to get both the dvd and the book. I can't wait until they arrive. the truth is, I really don't need another obsession. I have gotten along quite well with, cross stitch, needlepoint, machine embroidery, sewing, knitting and golf.

Thanks for you encouragement.
