It is called Rio Grande. It really was not hard. It was tedious. The fabric is cut into different size strips and then resewn into larger strips and then the long strips are sewn together to form the pattern. You do have to pay close attention to where you put stuff or it will mess up the pattern. I kept everything laid out on my extra bed so as to keep it all in order. I don't particularly like southwest stuff either so that made it hard. I promised him one this year so I had to get it done. Droping off for quilting today.

I love southwestern style anything. This is a beautiful quilt. You did a great job. I would love to see it when it is quilted.

I love the southwestern look too. The aqua color is one of my favorites. Really nice!
