Gosh...I thought I had put in a comment on this thread. I know I read it and started to, but guess I got sidetracked.

The only thing close to this town that I have seen in the states, as far as no cars, is Williamsburg, VA. It just sounds so wonderful being able to walk to work. Even in our little towns, most people tend to drive. Guess I would have trouble since I live 15 miles out of town.

I love hearing about where you live and the pictures are beautiful. Please keep them coming. It's so much fun seeing where everyone lives. Would love to see pictures of everyone's hometown.

Oh....and it's good to see your smiling face too Maria.

grammy65, yes, it is great to be able to walk to work, but since I'm a lazy girl I take my bike instead! Takes me about 5 min to work. That's why I don't bother to have a car any more.

Those who live futher away of course take their cars. They just have to park it outside of downtown and walk the last bit.

Love your pics. They are beautiful and so are you.

The streets look like they are so clean.

Hello ...

Your hometown is just incredibly beautiful. My mother's parents were from Sweden.
