Life is Finally Back to Normal-Quilt Retreat Pix

Post by grammy65 » Tue Sep 18, 2007 3:19 am

Hello All...seems like I have been gone from the boards forever. We had a big 100th Anniversary celebration of the VA in our town last Saturday. I was involved heavily with the parade. All went off beautifully.

The week before I went on my yearly quilt retreat. This year Sue Bourchard was our featured teacher, and as usual she had us all in stitches. The theme this year, since it was the 12th year, was "A Quilters' Dozen." Everything was about chickens and eggs. So here are a few pictures from our wonderful event. This was the first year it was held in Deadwood and everyone loved the new venue.

Here is Sue doing her famous CHICKEN DANCE!!!!

So anyway....a wonderful time was had by all. I'm just now getting caught up on rest. Life sure got wild for a while, but now it will get back to normal I hope.

I just love Sue Bouchard! She has such a great sense of humor and is an enormously talented quilter. I always enjoy spending time with her...not to mention the help she offered with that blasted Radiant Star quilt!

Looks like everyone had a great time!

What a great choice of fabric for the Christmas table runner!

You really look like you had a fantastic time. I'm green of envy, but so happy for you!
