Thank you all for you lovely comments! I get so excited doing things like this. Now, what next! I have some tops I can quilt, but am kind of on a roll & want to keep making more, lol. Been looking at some of my quilt books, but nothing has struck me just yet. I think I have truly found what I was meant to be doing, & I love every minute I get to spend doing it. To all who want to try this design too, have at it, & enjoy, then post a pic of yours, okay! Happy Quilting, Sisters, & Brothers too!

Lodad...
Not long for this quilt, went relatively fast. Only took as long as it did, cause it's all scrappy, so had to cut each strip individually. I built it as I went too, not having an actual pattern, & making it up as I went along. My original thought worked though, so that was nice, I was right on target, lol. I actually did it all this week, & have already started another quilt project. It is about 37in. square, so not a huge quilt. Have you check out the French Braid book? It's just smaller braids, but the same type of runs & I used blocks on the ends, instead of triangles. Fun design to play with, don't be afraid to give it a try. You could also do it all in one color theme. I just did this one cause I love lots of colors in my quilts! Thanks for your comments & compliments!
