3rd Pioneer Sampler block

Post by WeSignificant »

I know some of you are anxiously waiting the next block. I have decided in honor of my Dad's 80th birthday we will go ahead and do the September block. I have my sample done but running short on time today so will post pic after work.

Here it is. Just a few notes on this one. There are some thicker seams so if your needle isn't pretty new, you may want to think about changing it. I am going to press the final 2 seams open. Lots of points to watch out for!

We - It is gorgeous. I do love your colors. I need to get going on mine, but I am on call this weekend (all 3 days). I doubt I will get much done.

Oh HUG, I am all call too all weekend! Already working sat and sun. Monday I hope they don't call cuz I got an appointment with my grandson at 2pm. I hope to get some sewing done in the evening. With this CA heat right now though, I don't know.

WeSig, beautiful block! I'm thinking this weekend would be a great time for me to catch up on the swaps and BOM's. I need to finish my Bullseye blocks and then get caught up on the BOM's and finish quilting a quilt.

That is lovely! I am behind. Trying to finish up a couple of other things before I get started. August is always so hectic for me. We have 3 birthdays plus multiple family birthdays. Plus summer camp and back to school activities. I'm exhausted and glad September is finally here. Now if the weather would only cooperate and cool down.

Wesig, your block is inspring, really pretty. Thanks for posting

We can slow down for those who need to catch up. Maybe 2 a month is too much? I know some of us are really busy with swaps, working, getting holiday sewing done, raising kid, raising pets, cleaning house, doing laundry, etc. Let me know. Or do we need just 1 this month and then pick up two again next month. Should we vote? As it gets closer to the holidays two might get harder. Don't want to lose anyone because of going to fast.
