How pretty. I love the colors. Guess I missed out on the story of the "replacement quilt." Those little baby dragonflies are darling on that lavender fabric. Oh...I guess they are on the green as well. What great fabric.

I love your quilt. I was just wondering about the naked feet. I have heard how wild you California girls can be.

Oh, you guys are all so nice! Yes, zfatcat, this is the replacement quilt for new baby Zaida, whose original quilt was "adopted" by her 3-year old sister, Elizabeth.
The green and purple fabrics are the same print, just different background colors. I fell in love with the dragonflies when I saw it, and green is my favorite color. The pattern is from the February 2006 issue of American Patchwork and Quilting (published by Better Homes and Gardens). It's called Split Personality. Easy quilt, solid square and large 4-patch, with 3 different color schemes shown. I like how this one looks like a tile floor. I got the idea for multi-colored binding from the gals at QIAD--great way to use up extra fabric and I think it adds a little extra zip.

But Ruthie, it's for me to know if I had anything on the rest of my body! <heh, heh, heh!> (
(Actually, I was already in my jammies and was trying to hide behind the quilt!)
