King Tut thread

Post by marcia »

I have just finished quilting a quilt with King Tut and it worked very well for me. I have trouble with my machine with some thread and this seemed to work better than most. It is more expensive but the colors are nice and worked well. What do you use and have you tried it verses King Tut?

I need to get out of the "box." All I have ever used is Sew Fine. But I would like a little thicker thread. Did you have to mess with your tension a lot when you went to a thicker thread?

I do not do any longarm quilting, but have heard that King Tut thread is very good. I took a class on a HQ sixteen and the instructor recommended this thread.

No not really. Just put a size 90 topstitch needle in, throw some Bottom Line in the bobbin and go for it. It's a great combination, Amie

If you like King Tut and works good in your machine try the Rainbows... I used Rainbows on a quilt and others thought it was metallic!!! Had the same results as King Tut.
