El's iron

Post by vagrandma » Wed Aug 15, 2007 7:20 am

Does anyone know the brand of the iron that El uses in her videos? I need a new iron and that one looks like a nice one. Thanks for the help.

Hi Sandy,
El uses the Rowenta Professional Steam Iron. It is a very good iron with a lot of steam power. I saw them at Kohl's Department Store for about $100.

Thanks Linda. We have a Kohl's about 30 miles from here...I hope they have one.

I have also found the Rowenta irons at the Tuesday mornings stores, Kitchen Collection stores, JC Penneys. Hope this helps. You need to watch the ones at the kitchen collection store I think they may be returns. But I bought the little travel one for only $29.

Nadine how do you like the little Travel Iron? Used it yet? I need a sm iron to take along with me. Have looked at these but haven't found anyone that had one, to ask if they liked it or not.

I love the little iron someone stoled my first one and I went out and bought another one. I used to work in home health and most of the families loved it when I would sew so their mom that used to sew could watch me. You will love it. Just make sure whatever you buy have the shiny plate they glide better.
