Thanks Gals for all the compliments. I do believe the floral fabric is QIAD stuff--just happened to find in my stash! And the purple is also from QIAD in the "Potting Shed" line! The orange and green aren't my favorite colors, but they sure blended well with the floral!

After my boss ties it I'm going to try to stitch in the ditch along theh borders. Cross your fingers.. I've never done it, tho I do have a walking foot so that should help. Right?

The block pattern for the quilt top was so so easy. Actually I had most of it done by Friday nite and just had to do the borders on Saturday afternoon. I found some purple, green and the butter cream yellow crochet cotton in my stash, so my boss is going to start working on tying it. Hope it doesn't take her too long as I'm anxious to see it all done! I have a sneaking feeling that it might take her a while tho as she has 3 young kids. I'm old enough to be her mother and actually we came to find out that we are distantly related! How weird is that?

Anyway, when it's ALL done, I'll post another pic!

It looks great! I particularly like the blue/purple fabric - makes the quilt look so alive! Can't wait to see the finished result!
