Hi granma2five, I just sent you a detailed PM about the pictures. Good luck with your boot...I've never done any applique so I'm not much more of a help!!

Hi,

Thanks to Lynn, I now have some directions to get this photo loaded. I'll bet I've set a record for taking the longest to get a photo uploaded, huh?

Okay, here I go:

I tried to click the link and it's asking me to sign in. I'm not sure why. Did you right click over the image you wanted to get the address for it? I tried to post the picture myself but the address wasn't working. :(

Grandma,
Your quilt is so cute, I love it. Your husband should become a quilt designer! lol

Hi Linda,

Well, thanks so very much! I'll pass your thoughts along to hubby. <Grin> He IS good, he does draw sometimes, and thought about breaking into oils, but since his cancer and operation in 98 just hasn't had it in him. This just might cheer him onto new horizons, you never know!

Happy quilting,

Hi LynnS,

I don't know what's wrong with the Kodak site. I'm new to it, but am already getting fed up. I may need to move on to something else that will work better. Have any suggestions besides Photobucket and Picasa? Thanks.

I have had two people send me pictures to view in their Kodak folder or whatever you call it. I could get to one, but not the other...they wanted me to "join." When I asked the friend about it I guess when you post your pictures you can choose if you want to just let people view them or if they have to "join." I'm not really sure about this. It's very confusing.

That boot is fantastic. It looks like you took a picture of a real boot. Sometimes I think men go about things from a different angle and come up with some great ideas. He did great!!!!

Hi Grammy65,

Thanks for sharing your insights. Like you, I just don't 'get it'.

I'm trying to find a web album program that I can use and that won't be full of "ickware", undesirable software that's added to the program for the purpose of keeping track of the member, etc. I have heard that's the case with Photobucket, for sure.

Sharing photos, and making links available shouldn't be so difficult. Does anyone have any advice for me?

Thanks,
