Nancy & Me at a LQS

Post by maryq » Fri Jul 27, 2007 11:06 am

Well gals today was my lucky day! I got to meet Quiltsbeme for lunch and a short trip to the quilt shop! What fun! What a gal... I'm so glad she was with me, what an eye for color. She helped me pick out colors to go with some of the fabric I already had on hand for Sara's quilt! I'm so excited.. came home and threw it in the wash before I unpacked the groceries I had to stop and get!

What a sweet heart! We had a good chuckle about all our UFO's and our silly kids!

Here's a picture of us!

Thank you so much Nancy for taking time out of your busy day!! Was great to meet in person!

Nice to see what both of you look like! Does this mean we'll be seeing a completed quilt soon?

What a great picture. Looks like you both were having a great time together. Isn't it great to meet some of your forum friends? I was so excited when CindyB and I were able to get together when she was in San Antonio.

We sure had fun but it was far too short. I had to go back to the real world and go to work. bleh We will definitely do it again. Maybe we can sew together next time? We'll see. I am so looking forward to our next time out!

QC

you mean a real honest to gosh COMPLETED quilt!!! You're asking a lot you know!

Let's see, today is July 27th, 2007... any bets how long it will take me to finish Sara's Quilt!

your choices are:

a. For their 1st anniversary
b. after their 1st child is born
c. When I retire
d. when hell freezes over!

All kidding aside, I'm going to give it my best shot! When I accomplish this it will be my first real Eleanor Burns quilt!

I'm going downstairs now to iron up the fabric and will post a new photo of the fabric Nancy helped me pick out!

See ya!

Great picture. Don't tell qltsbeme that. I don't want it to go to her head.

She is really good at colors.

I am glad you two had a good time while I just sat here all alone with no body to play with.
